I’m Julia, an abstract-realist painter working from my atelier in Prague. 

My each painting has been a course in experimentation with materials, brushes, and paints. 

For me, art is a powerful medium for sharing my thoughts and ideas and to inspire and stimulate the viewer’s emotions. 

My inspiration comes from a multitude of places; I am deeply influenced by travel. I spent a couple of months abroad during my studies, doing my internships and exploring the world.

My biggest inspirations come from solo traveling in South East Asia,  Tanzania and North America. For me traveling is a passion, a way of living and definitely the biggest inspiration in my artistic career.
